Bharat Ko Janiye Quiz 2018-19

The Government of India is organizing Bharat Ko Janiye Quiz (BKJQ) 2018-19. Details of quiz including Guidelines for BKJQ, General Rules, Quiz Structure including Registration Form, Know India (write ups), Model Test, FAQs etc. are available at web portal https://www.bharatkojaniye.in

2. The BKJ Quiz will be held online for two distinct categories of Person of Indian Origin (PIO) & Non-Resident Indian (NRI) aged 15 to 35 years. The Registration on the portal is mandatory by the eligible contestant. The Quiz will be conducted in 4 rounds. First round will be conducted by High Commission of India during July 19 to July 21, 2018 when the site will remain open for the contestants. In the first round, there will be 30 questions to be selected randomly by the computer to be answered in 25 minutes. There is no negative marking. Winner of the first round (in the region) will be awarded with a medal.

3. The second, third and fourth rounds of the Quiz will be conducted by the Ministry of External Affairs (details are available at the website). The 10 finalists from each category of NRI and PIO will be invited to India for a 15-day fully sponsored Bharat Ko Janiye Yatra including a visit to Lakshadweep Union Territory. Guidelines along with a tentative programme for Bharat Ko Janiye Quiz and Yatra are also available on the website.

4. All eligible PIO/NRI aged between 15 to 35 years are encouraged to participate in the quiz. Registration can be done on the BKJQ website. Any query in this regard may be addressed to Mr. Vinay Kumar, SS (HOC) at tel: 061-226036, email: hoc.windhoek@mea.gov.in for further clarification.
