B. Photograph Specifications

For any consular service, you would need to bring upload/photograph as per the prescribed specifications.

Two Recent photos (Size: 51mm x 51mm) (Not older than Three months, no uniform) with white background with DARK DRESS and frontal view. No hats/caps/sunglasses etc Eyebrows should be visible. Ears, forehead chin to be completely visible Clarity of the photo is very important - Edited, blurred or unclear photos should not be accepted.

C. Time Required for Delivery of Consular Services

Subject to submission of all prescribed documentation, the High Commission endeavours to provide consular services in a most expeditious manner.

All applicants are advised to come to the High Commission only on the date and time generated by the online applications system. Visa applicants should be ready to be present at the High Commission because of biometric data requirement.

For Visa applications, since biometric data of applicants are also required to be captured, all VISA applicants are advised to apply safely in advance, Namibian passport holders (at least 5 working days) and Foreign passport holders (at least 10 working days). Visa applications with less than the aforementioned processing time will not be accepted. Please also ensure that your passport has at least 4 clear leaves before submitting your application, For any passport service (new/re-issue), four weeks of processing time is required.

For Miscellaneous service, such as Police Clearance Certificate, Power of Attorney, Attestations, Birth Certificate, etc., three working days are required.

D. HCI Windhoek has no Agents/Representatives for Consular Services:

Applicants are notified not to entertain any Agent for applying Passport/Visa/OCI/Renunciation service. No Agent is authorized by the High Commission to provide services/facilitate applicants. Applicants may inform the Consulate immediately in case any Agent approaches them with a promise to expedite the application
